1. "To be stuck for" means "to not know" or "to be unable to produce."

Example: I do not know the answer to this question. I am stuck for an answer.

2. "To be true of _____" is an archaic and literary way of saying "to have a true _____"

Example: She has a true heart. She is true of heart.

3. "To serve to" is to "have the role of [doing]" or "has the effect of [doing]" something. It appears frequently in technical or academic writing.

Example: The bridge has three pillars supporting it. Each pillar serves to support the bridge.

In my opinion, it is not a useful phrase because it pads the sentence with unnecessary words; it is usually possible to convey the same meaning without it. For example, in the above sentence it would have been just as easy and clearer to write, "Each pillars supports the bridge." But that is just my opinion.

4 "be prosecute to"

I've never heard this phrase before. Are you sure you've got it correct?
