LMAO! aw - she doesn't know you made me shave my head, c'mon!
WOT!?!?!
Slappy's right. Women might not like turning 30, but most women I know (who are in their 30s) are happier in their 30s.
She was joking. (Duh.)
In the meantime, I seem by now to have ended up in the modest half of the statistic ... <grins> ... and the curve keeps shifting ;-)
about the shaved head - well, ya never know....
<g> Nope - no shaved head.
I HAVE gotten my hair cut with layers since I've been here, and I'm weraing a lot of European style clothes.
But no - it's about turning thirty - it happened in november and I haven't been able to catch up with it yet. Heheheheh
It's like ... I can *see* how it's a good thing, and how I'm more mature and dealing with things better (ahem) but ... yeah - I guess this is a good topic for a thread. <g>
I can see where I *will* like it better than my twenties ... but it *feels* like that'll happen when I'm close to forty.
The thing that really bugs me is (I feel) I can't be the same kind of cute at thrity that I could at 28, for some ridiculous reason (like my whole world got thrown upside down and *everything* in it is different now) - it's one of the things I'm dealing with in therapy. <winks>
Oog... There's a woman in my office who's 'cute'. It doesn't work well for a forty-something.
That *would* be an interesting subject for a thread (says the 32-year-old...)
Ditto, says a 34 year old.

We understand Gautam . . . you're just trying to make ends meet!
32 in 11 days and interested in your thread idea, anastasia!
I had a week of concern running up to turning 30 and then realised that I'm much better off in every way now than 5 or 10 years ago...except maybe certain joints that don't function quite so well!!!
I *used* to be extremely promiscuous. Then I got better.
HELP! I'm thirty!
thnaks for replying, guys.
"Better?" Some might say "worse."
Just kiddin'. Kinda.
<giggles>
"better" is DEFINITELY relative.
maybe not "better" just ...
different.
<nods>
