Europe's biggest rail station has only one toilet
Operators of Europe's largest railway station have admitted their mistake in building only one set of toilets. Passengers at Berlin's new £480m train station have already been complaining about the queues for the loos. About 30,000 people use the new multi-level station each day and it has also attracted visits from shoppers and tourists.
Station spokesman Holger Auferkamp admitted the lack of washroom facilities was a problem, in particular for women.
"We realise there is a problem and are now planning to build a second set of toilets as quickly as possible," he said.
What do the travelers do, when they have young children and the
bathrooms are out-of-order?
