Could you please tell me the meaning of "stick with somebody"?Thank you!
It means to be loyal to someone, to be a friend, even if other people won't be friends with that person.
"Everybody said Joe was a bad man, but Mary was willing to stick with him."
That means that Mary remained Joe's loyal friend, even though everyone else criticized him, and said he was bad.
