Forteo

At 55 I was diagnosed with osteo. Fosmax did nothing for me and continued losing bone. Bone density is -4.7 in spine and hip. Both my Dr. said I am worse case they have seen. Now on Forteo and waiting for one year as specialist said bone density test has to be takes then and not before a year. Have experienced low energy, leg cramps, bone aches and also weight gain. Do not want to come off medication if it is helping me. Have also loss over 2inches in height and ribs keep hitting hipbone, am experiencing uncomfortable feeling in ribs besides factoring ribs. I say hang in there we're lucky to have such medication.
