Which slogan is better?

1) Development is the top priority.
2) Development leads top prosperity.
3) Development is most promising.
4) Development is the only way.

I vote for the first one. The second one isn't catchy in English, although it is grammatical. The third one is obvious; and the last one is too limiting -- what about growth avter development? Profit? There are other priorities in business; your slogan should indicate that development is the most important.

I'd go with:

Development is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

Yes, the best is #1.

#2 doesn't make a whole lot of sense, grammatically, (sorry, Wy!).

#3 would benefit by insertion of "the" between "is" and "most", but implies comparison with something else.

#4 #4 is fine, but rather aggressive.

Wy - I think we both read #2 exactly as written, but perhaps it should have been "to" not "top". In which case, it makes perfect sense, and although that sense is quite different from #1, it would be fine, depending on the context.

None of them is exactly catchy or memorable. Sorry to say it but it's true. 1 is probably best.

Development--because poverty sucks.
