Re: can you help me?
"The sun, for example, will expand during this stage nearly 250 times in diameter and increase a thousand times in brightness."

This sentence obviously comes from a text about astronomy. Stars (like the sun) go through various stages in their lives, and at the end of the life of a star, it becomes much larger and much brighter (produces more light), before it "dies." The author was using the sun, the star about which our planet orbits, as an example of what would happen to a star of that stage near the end of its life. Large stars collapse, and then often explode, creating what are called "supernova" stars--new stars are often "born" from the wreckage of large stars which have exploded. The sun is not a large star. When it gets old, it will first expand and produce more light, then it will shrink, and burn out, and no longer produce light. It will then be simply a gravitational anomoly in a not particularly interesting part of an ordinary galaxy.

I'm sure that's more than you wanted to read.

bobqz007 "sb" is not a word or abbreviation we use in the west. I know that you mean somebody however good english would mean write the word in full.

bobqz007 good for you, I knew there would be a reason you use sb like that. Many people here were quite puzzled at first.

There may be places on the internet where sb is acceptable. Many young peole use abbreviations like ROTFL (rolling on the floor laughing) or IMHO (in my humble opinion).

I notice in your posts that spaces between words and punctuation are a minor problem. There should be a space after a punctuation mark. Also all sentences should start with a CAPITAL letter.
See below how the space comes after the comma?

Word word, word word "word" word word word word; word word word word.

These are only minor corrections and i dont mind if you dont do as i advise, as long as you know the correct way from the first.
