is chinese popular in America?

Chinese is rarely studied in the US. The most popular languages to study are Spanish, French and German. We just assume the Chinese will all speak English eventually.

The state owned newspapers in China are probably not going to be your most reliable source of news for anything American.

But sorry I don't think their is a high demand or intrest in Chinese, It makes the most sense for spanish and french as our closest neighbors, Canada and Mehico but there are not enough Chinese anything to really make it worth while.
