smorgs,

Holland is playing Serbia-Montenegro right now. Holland (Netherlands) is leading 1-0 at halftime. There are some World Cup websites that provide live coverage including video.

Walter,

We would say 12:00p.m. (noon). Central time (for USA) would be 11:00a.m.

Nasty cough, M'Lord. Must be that English climate.

Czech team looks good on paper,
but the match will be played on the pitch.

Go YANKS!!!

I was hoping to avoid hearing the score until I had a chance to see the
game on tape tonight. A co-worker dropped the bomb on me before I
had a chance to stop him.

Ouch!

This makes things a bit more difficult.

I am glad I was at work and did not witness the USA game. One disadvantage for U.S. soccer players is that they have less experience playing internationally.

Why is that, I wonder? You're not that far from where the game is strongest - Europe and /or South America.

Most of the Australians play in Europe.

Nobody's been knocked out yet, but it makes it very hard for the USA to qualify.

The USA score was 3 - 0 to Czechs.
