Hello George, just out of curiousity: what do you do in your daily life? I mean what kind of job do you have?

I'm studying linguistics Smile

I just asked cuz you know so much about latin, I thought you might be a latin teacher or something, but no, you're doing something completely different Smile For how long has this been a hobby of yours?

I took Latin for four years of high school and then a couple of courses in
college, which was a Catholic seminary. In those bygone days, Latin was
used for many religious services.

After I left, there was little use for Latin. Every so often I would see a
Latin phrase or quotation and amuse myself by trying to translate it.
But it was only after seeing requests for translation here a couple of
years ago that I really started getting into it again.

I even went out and bought a Latin dictionary!

Well, I had one in high school, and in college.
But that was quite some time ago and my
trustly Latin dictionary got lost along the way.
