Embarrassed Hi! Everyone, could you tell me how to understand the following sentence?
It looks like that he could use a friend.

It looks like that he could use a friend.

The sentence is not good english. The word "that" is not correct and should be deleted.

It looks like = it appears as if, it seems as if, it seems that
he could use = American slang for "he needs"

It seems that he needs a friend
