Hello liuwei.

Welcome to Able2Know.

"Beat around the bush" is a common English-language phrase meaning that someone is not getting to the point when they are speaking to you. They are adding irrelevant information, talking around the answer.

If you asked someone what time it was, and they told you the history of the clock instead of telling you what time it was - you could tell them to "stop beating around the bush".
