Congratulations on landing a well-paying job that fits your talents and a husband who can tolerate your success.

Hold your dominion.

squinney's successes are my successes as mine are hers. I do more than tolerate them, I celebrate them.

Thank you, everyone!

First day spent getting to know procedures, responsibilities, formalities. This is looking like a very nice fit for me.

I get to plan parties, organize committees, and manage a few part time employees that will take over for me on weekends that don't have major events planned. I get to socialize, write newsletters, and keep the website updated. But, the best part is that I get to play with the babies during Tea for Tots, rumble with the teens if I can get them motivated to gather, and may even learn some more Spanish from the group that meets for that purpose on Tuesdays in the clubhouse.

Did I mention I get to play with the babies? The community has 4 parks and I've been instructed to walk down and mingle (play with the babies) now and then to let residents know I'm there. Wooohoo! I HAVE to go to the park!

Yes, Bear has been very supportive and encouraging. I think he was even more excited than I was when I got the news Friday. He won't be sitting at home planning menu's, but it will be nice for both of us to finally have jobs with regular hours. We haven't experienced that in 18 years!

(Noddy - I SO "get" you and love you. You're a gem.)

Pay me to party? Umm, well... yeah. When you put it that way it does seem a little ludicrous.

I guess somebody has to do it, so I'm thankful it's me!

And, if we ever have a gathering in NC, I volunteer to do all the planning. You all just show up and be your wonderful selves.

Thanks again for your support!
