Squinney has landed a job as on site events coordinator for a very nice, huge, high dollar community in N Raleigh. I mean this place has ALL the amenities including it's own Farmers Market and is a very active community. Shelley will be in charge of everything from the calendar and newsletter to coordinating the regular and special events that take place. She presented ideas in the interview process that the community is excited about implementing.

She competed with a bunch of people for this job and landed it easily. Unless there is a special event going on it's a mon-fri 9 to 5 job, and it starts her at a VERY nice salary. No nights, few weekends.

She is very happy and excited and I am happy and excited for her. Also, as usual, VERY proud of my bride. She rules!!!!!! Very Happy

Kidding. I know you're happy for her, Bear. Here's hoping it's an exciting and rewarding job that makes her happy!

Great news! Of course, you realize that nepotism rocks, so I'd say it's time to be EXTRA nice to her. Laughing

Congrats squinney!

I suggest lots of flowers and little gifts. They seem like the way to charm a woman's heart and inveigle her into employing you.

It's plainly obvious that Squinney has one hell of a brain. It's nice to know that the interviewers picked the right person.

Bloody well done, Squinney!

I had a rooting in my bare section once, but I was drunk at the time and slept right the way through it.
