I am not form Nepal and nor do have I known Nepali but I live quite near to that place -- India.

I guess, they do speak Hindi to some degree over there.
There is a Hindi thread on this forum, you are always welcome if you can speak the language.

Actually Mac, a male member here does have an avatar very similar to you, that's why I asked. Rolling Eyes

Anyways, in India we tease boys as Bandars (monkeys) sometimes while referring to their misdemenour.

To aap Nepal ki original native hain, Miss Macaroni?

Hey!! Smile

my father specialises in dermatology and family planning. works and works and gets tired by the time he's home. If it hadn't been for my school fees i have a feeling he would stop working. I feel very guilty sometimes. when i tell them that they say, study and that's the greatest thing you could do, and then i feel even worse.

PS: aapto bandariya nahin ho, spider ho na!

hey spidergal!
i began A Levels here so i was busy and haven't visited able2know for long.... i'm still in the same school but there are now 70 in our class, lots of subjects and hw, and it's different and i felt lost! lekin mein catch up kar rahi huun

hi vinsan!
mein kathmandu mein hi rehti hun. i 've only been to darjeeling, last last year from school. we went to hmi (himalayan mountaineering institute) and the whole route to other places around and it's beatifuuuuuuuuuL!!!!! we almost died while trekking because it was all slopes and very cold but it was fun. but darjeeling is just like nepal and everyone there speaks nepali and even most of the instructors there spoke in nepali.

mera hindi likhte jesa achhe nahin sunta hoga lekin. haan aur, himalayan mountains bohaat achhe he na! you can see white peaks from ktm too in the winter and there great! if you go trekking to ghandruk, annapurna looks like it's right before your face, and it's "wow"!

Macaroni, Glad to see you back! Very Happy It is such fun to have folks who can speak your language on an American forum like this. We are quite of an ethnic community here.

Good luck with your studies. My college reopens this Thursday, I too wouldn't be able to post from now on.

Cheers to India, Cheers to Nepal! Smile
