I'm another first- timer here, but I have been reading this forum for several months. Can you ,or someone else, translate -{ALL OR NOTHING},or maybe {NO COMPROMISE} Thank you in advance;and thanks for the great job you guy's do here. Lamar.
If you are requesting a translation into Latin, "ALL OR NOTHING" could be
translated "OMNIA AUT NIHIL". Note that there is a famous Latin saying,
"AUT CAESAR AUT NIHIL," that is often used for "all or nothing." Literally,
it means "EITHER CAESAR OR NOTHING."
Wow George. You've got an entourage.
George Brand, ask for it by name!
Accept no imitations!
...coming soon to a Wal-Mart near you...
Carefully handcrafted in a sweatshop.
Hmmm...
A Latin translation sweat shop.
I picture rows of monks hunched over PCs
as the Prior walks among them.
There is no air conditioning. The windows face west and south and are painted shut. The PC network utilizes a strict firewall blocking anything remotely resembling porn.
OK, now that's just scary.
The windows in my corner of the building face west and south.
They can't be opened. Network has a filter that blocks porn,
personal sites, games, and even the swimsuit section of the Sports
Illustrated site.
We do have air conditioning, though.
George, maybe you should have your office swept for bugs. Didn't I tell you I'm a super secret agent for the NSA?
The lack of air conditioning was just a little something added to make the translating feel more like a penance.
Security is pretty tight here, but I don't think they sweep for bugs.
And there's always plenty of good penance to go around.
oops.....sorry that wound up here! But thanks again soooo much for answering. You are the best,Man. FIC-LB
