Grocery shopping night: tabouli scooped with chile-lime corn chips, fresh tofu spring rolls with asian peanut sauce, a gin-n-tonic, and Phish Food frozen yogurt. Yikes!

Dam.I wish I could get a good kebab. My local guy is crap. The nearest quality Kebab House is 3 miles away and,of course, they don't deliver. This is the U.K. so that's hardly surprising.

..... but back to food!

A Mrs Himalaya raid tonight: Lamb curry, crunchy French beans, spicey dry potato & dahl on steamed rice. At 5:30 pm, when I was famished!

Saved again by Mrs H!

Jeez, G - you have a bit of a weakness for Aussie men!

Don't get hurt again!

When are you coming out to check out the rest of them?[/color]

I have a weakness for Aussie men too! But, I've only followed through once.

I had a smoothie tonight for dinner and a lot of strong beer. The smoothie was made from a frozen banana, a double handful of frozen black cherries, a cherry yogurt and some almond milk (yum!). The beer is an Arrogant Bastard (yum). I am trying to figure out what else I can eat that I don't have to cook. Maybe a scone (geez).

Stopped at the store and picked up boneless chops, prosciutto, and the Emmentaler I like to use. Pound the veal, bread it, lay on two wafer-thin slices of ham and two of the cheese, wrap it up, pin it with a toothpick, and bake at 350, (although sometimes if I am in the mood I will bake at 352)

Did a little gnocchi witha a white sauce and a quick saute' of baby zucchini on the side. I considered some fava beans in tomato and basil but decided against it.

I finished with a bottle of Orvieto and a couple of almond tortes that I had whipped up earlier.

And more beer and some frozen yogurt. Oy. And tomorrow is supposed to be hotter.
