@jcboy,
The Puerto Rican and I have the day off, we dropped Antonio off at school, did some shopping, stopped for lunch at this cute little Thai restaurant. I forgot what this soup was called but it was quite tasty. I like Thai food.

The Puerto Rican said he was going to make me some hot wings in his deep fryer tonight for din din.

@ehBeth,
That does sound familiar.

Tonight the Puerto Rican is cooking again, making pork chops, mashed potatoes and steamed carrots.

@jcboy,
I picked up some Chinese food for din din tonight, ordered egg rolls, sesame chicken and hot and sour soup. We didn’t have time to cook; Antonio and I went shopping after I picked him up from school.

@jcboy,
I am scrambling tonight. Didn't plan. I just made a roux with olive oil, butter and flour with garlic with cream added...it is kind of like an alfredo sauce - okay - exactly like an alfredo sauce. I added a little nutmeg. I then grilled chicken on the stovetop and have sliced it up and am letting it rest a bit. I think I am going to toss with with penne and fresh basil in the sauce and serve it with a salad. I have also been wondering if I should chop up that head of broccoli and steam it and toss it in there.

I dunno. I am a wee bit indecisive today.

@jcboy,
Re shopping, I'll be the loud aunt again, saying what I think. (I remember CJane argued with me).

Please do not spoil Antonio. Raising a prince is not a good idea.

@mismi,
Hi Mismi, Those were large salmon chunks, which made me think later it wasn’t Tom Yum Ka soup but a hot and sour salmon curry soup.

@jcboy,
Ok, I don't mind you're spoiled.

I'm only half kidding. I was in, not known to me, a kind of only kid environment.
Things went, off and on, south, and later, more south.

Don't leave Antonio defenseless, he needs to know about the world.

As I said, please don't.

So, back to food, I'm out of line.
Lemon chicken for me.

@ossobuco,
I was suppose to make that roasting chicken today but it would have taken too long so I'll make it tomorrow night. It's a large one so I can make a nice chicken stew out of the left-overs.

@jcboy,
We usually have dinner out on Fridays but staying in tonight. I have the chicken baking in the oven, having it with mashed potatoes and petite peas.

Later we'll find a good movie to watch.

@jcboy,
Soup is happening - chicken stock, whizzed canned tomatoes, previously cooked mushrooms and herbs in olive oil, a thawing hot ital pork sausage, perhaps some leftover pasta from my last failed ravioli attempt (don't get me going), and about a third of a red onion, briefly sauteed.

@ossobuco,
My roasted chicken came out perfect, crispy skin but tender and juicy. Antonio always wants a chicken leg.

If this cooking keeps up I’ll be as big as a house before summer.

@ehBeth,
I didn't charge the battery on my camera Razz

I hate taking photos on my iPhone, they're just not the same. Plus I can't get them off my phone unless I email them to myself, I think its because the phone is an apple product and I have a PC.
