Yum! If you haven't tried these apples, go get some and enjoy! Razz

A co-worker told us about them. Now almost every day at work, we slice up a pink lady (apple) for a snack. These apples are great!

Just.....try 'em! That's all.

This has been a Stray Cat public service announcement.

Okay. Right now, I'm favoring the jonagold, but one pink lady wouldn't be a big investment.

Atta boy, Roger! You'll love 'em. Slice one up (for some reason, eating them in slices is really good!)

Oh, good. I was afraid you were rationing what I consider a free food. You know, like allowing yourself 1/4 stalk of celery, or something.

But, I will try one.

Can't say I ever cared for the Braeburn, but the gala is good, with better crunch than any of the others. What I need now is a good apple slicer. The ones I've tried make too many dinky, little slices, and don't cut all the way through. Probably trying to protect those delicate little cutting edges.

Sliced apples work better with peanut butter, for sure. Try it, before you start laughing, Anon.

You're talking to a peanut butter (extra crunchy please) addict, no laughing from here!

I buy mostly Pink Lady and Red Delicious. Yesterday I gave a lady to a friend. He loved it, but though I was pulling his leg. He refused to believe there could be apples called Pink Lady.

MacIntosh, mushy!? It must have been rotten.

Really, a Pink Lady sounds like some sort of drink. You know, the kind you get in yuppin joints with ferns hanging in your face.

Oh yeah...they aren't mushy at all. Not as hard as a Red Delicious, say but not mushy.

If you like Pink Ladys you really have got to try Pacific Rose apples. They can be hard to find and a little pricey but there is not a better apple on the planet.

I had a good delicious apple once. Fresh from the tree and farmer's market. Otherwise, I wouldn't touch them.
