I went out for lunch today to a new restaurant in town.

I had a burger with blue cheese, mushrooms and bacon. It was good. Even better was the dill pickle on the side. Delicious.

I had a Clausen pickle today. I bought it last night on double coupon day. A mini dill again. It was delicious.

What else did you eat with the pickle?

A roast beef and turkey sandwich, some Kettle's potato chips and a vanilla yogurt for desert all washed down with a nice cold glass of ice water.

Why yes I am. Every once in awhile the gang from work will have lunch at a little cafe down the street and wisely invest in a few pitchers of Spotted Cow. It makes for a great lunch but a long afternoon.

Has anybody found pickled eggs to be insanely sour, though?

I just purchased a two pack of baby polish dills from Costco. I think they're made by Vlasic but they have a polish name which I can't remember. Anyone? Something Wyrobi? Love 'em.

I have fond memories of a ploughman's lunch L.E. Can you help me with the type of pickle provided in pub grub?

I'm pretty sure pub grub pickles are dill spears. I prefer Clausen. They are in the refrigerated section.

If you can get into a Costco, try those little polish ones.
