English to Latin translation Family Motto HELP!

After much thought, and a great dream, I've decided on my family motto. "To hold decency at bay" In this case decency is the forces
of puritanism, the blue noses, and political correctness. I've tried many of the English to Latin machine translation websites but they just don't get it. It seems that the hardest part is the sense of holding something at bay. Could some kind human provide a translation with the right spirit?
