It's racism in my county -- the OC. I hear it constantly from my WASP clientele. They do not want any more Mexicans other than what they can employ as house servants. I don't need to offer proof -- I sell them art, take their money and politely throw up about their politics in private.

So, you're saying that because people who hate hispanics don't want a massive violation of the immigration laws, anyone who doesn't want a massive violation of the immigration laws, must hate hispanics. Why do you make an argument which is just on the face of it incorrect? How do you conclude that anyone who wants the country to have the right to regulate immigration must be a racist?

It is self-evident that every country has the right to regulate immigration. It's ludicrous to say that a country that wishes to have immigration laws is acting immorally. Most countries have such laws. The difference is that more people seem to wish to come here and, so, violate them.

For the record I am an American citizen. I have some ancestors who were here before the American Revolution and some Germans who came in the late 1800's.

I also have 3 offspring (including this one).
