It's about troops that came back from Iraq and are talking about their experiences. Mainly guys who don't agree with this war.
They talk about things that are happening in Iraq that the media wouldn't show.
It's really worth the watch when you can do it.

They call them men and throw them in the line of fire, but these are boys, not men!

You look at these young faces and try to imagine what they have already been through in their short lives and these boys will have to live with what they've seen and done for the rest of their lives, all for lies!

My heart bleeds for these "kids" and I never did or will ever support this US war on the world!

A question - since I am not a vet, do you think I am not entitled to an opinion on the war?

Just putting your opinion in perspective ...

It is tragic Montana, tragic and disgusting.

The only thing one can hope from all this is that these kids will grow up to be empathic, compassionate human beings aware of the repercussions of ugly things like this war.

No it doesn't mean that, but if you're so hell bent on seeing blood, why not give your own in the place of one of those boys just like in the video.
You want to scream war from the hilltops, why not get yourself a nice cozy spot on a hill in Iraq, where you could give the troops the courage they need to go on?

I drive a 1987 Olds, by the way!

Our government doesn't consider them men. Many of them are not allowed to drink beer.

They're not old enough. They're kids.

Ironic. I've thought about it and this is one of the most fitting words to describe the human race, almost as good as hypocritical.

My son is almost 19 years old and he's not even close to becoming what I'd call a man.

When I look at the young faces in that video, I see boys my sons age and I can't imagine how they can put guns in their hands and teach them to kill.
They throw them right on the front lines as if they were nothing more than chess pieces that can be replaced.
It is beyond me how much cruelty can stem from nothing more than greed.

Oil that is! Ah yes, black gold!

Some folks call it "Freedom"!

For people like Bush national security is having friendly governments in oil producing countries.

If they're not friendly to us, that is if they don't do what we tell them to do, they suddenly have WMD's, are an imminent threat to our security and are undemocratic, even if elected into office.

Oh yes, one last thing. They harbor and assist terrorist. They're friendly to Al Qaeda. And they may also be communist.

Excellent reasons to attack someone.

mysteryman was in the Gulf War not this current insane situation. I am sure we all appreciate his service but saying he was "there" in the context of this war is not entirely accurate.
