Ethics evolved with humanity, and varies from culture to culture, from religion or non religion to the next. Atheists in general have the essentials without the extraneous and phony dressing.

But what well-known moral code does an atheist associate himself with?
Ethics

Yes dys-but you are a nice guy.And powerless.

Isn't the gun lobby's position on the right to bear arms posited on a distrust of authority having a monopoly on them and where could that distrust come from if an atheist authority can be gauranteed to behave as sweetly as you no doubt do and most of us do for that matter thanks to a greater or lesser indoctrination with Christian values.

I'm glad you don't doctor me mate.

The post you complimented is pure sanctimonious drivel-i.e. meaningless.

Ooooh, that'll get 'im, I bet! Here's another, Herr Doctor S -

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails.

Satanists are self-delusional. You can't have god without satan, you can't have satan without got.

Theists and satanists arguing is simply a form of family squabble.

OK, so I'm a bit confused about Setanta's point in this thread. What I've gotten so far is that:

a) Nobody should be surprised about these findings
b) The findings are a crock of ****

Question

My initial response was that the contention ought not to surprise anyone. Further investigation leads me to question the method and the intent of Miss Edgell, who is responsible for the survey from which the results were abstracted.

In all circumstances, i am never surprised to learn that Habibi is confused.
