Some of these sentence contain words referring to school and popular
culture that don't correspond to the times in which Latin was spoken. In those cases we'll just adapt Latin as best we can.

just learning latin.
Linguam Latinam recens disco.

Im from the United States of America.
Civitatibus Foederatis Americae sum.

How old are you?
Quot annos natum es?

Im 15
Quindecim annos natum sum

Im 16
Sedecim annos natum sum

My birth day is April 14
Natalis meus est XIV Aprilis

I was born 1990
Anno Domini MCMXC nata sum

I am in the 9th grade
In nono gradu sum.

Im a freshman
Tiro sum
(There's no word for "freshman". "Tiro" actually means beginner or
recruit, so we're adapting a military term to High school.)

Im a female.
Femina sum.
(As you've guessed by now, "sum" means "I am".)

my brothers name is stephen
Nomen fratri mei Stephanus est.

My moms name is dolores
Nomen matris meae Dolores est.

I live with my mom and brother.
Cum matre fratreque meis habito.

I like rock, metal, punk and sum rap not much.
Musicam genereris "rock", "punk" et "rap" (aliquantum, non valde) amo.
(I don't know any way to render those names except by leaving them in
English and quoting them.)

My favorite music is metal and Rock.
Genera musicae gratiosa "metal" et "rock" sunt.

I hope you enjoy learning a bit of Latin, Cathy. Good luck.

In Latin, the usual word order is to put the verb last. This Wikipedia
article
has a pretty good explanation.

I think the best way to learn it is by taking a beginner course in the
classroom, but that may not be available to you. Googling "beginner
Latin course" gets a lot of responses. I do not know which of them are
any good, but it can't hurt to poke around until you find one you like.

Good luck!

i googled beginner classes and i copuldent find anything that could help me? In order for me to learn latin I have to understand the way its writen and its vocabulary. But to find out theres no basic vocabulary for latin.

If theres no basic vocabulary for latin then how did they make sence of this language? Meaning how did latin people learn and understand this language if thiers no basic vocabulary to it?
