He snubbed her at SOTU but held her chair for her tonight. Nice subtle touch.

I don't think Obama will either, but he may think it's worth it.

Right! Obama and VP Edwards would be a good ticket!

Richardson, Al Gore, or Hillary Clinton. So probably Richardson.

Any boxing fan knows that the judges can be swayed by what happens at the end of the round. Ali won many a fight by turning it on in the last 15 seconds of a round he actually lost.

Hillary didn't close well with that long winded plug for her town meeting. What a stupid thing to end with.

She was winning most of the way, but I think it ended as an overall tie, but Obama closing strong may make him seem like the ultimate winner.

Not a very revealing debate.

I don't think to many undecided are going to bed tonight having made up their minds.

Anderson Cooper says he's going to show us the electric moments of the debate.

Good, because I surely missed them.

ob, I heartily agree. It was fun to critique, but when its over, that about sums it up, booooring, and further, big on whys, wherefores, and whereases, but pretty scarce indeed on specific policy concerning much of anything, but of course that is nothing new for these Dem debates. I did hear a couple of specifics though, Obama is going to help pay for his health care by hiring dieticians to slim all of us down, and Clinton is going to help pay for hers with computerized records to streamline the mountains of paperwork she plans to create, and by the way, we will need to buy the equipment for some of the poor hospitals out in the countryside.

Bayh will never be president or vice president.

I'd bet against it any day, simple for the reason that he appeals to you so much, Okie Laughing

Hearing it the second time I realized the discomfort Obama seemed to have with answering the immigration questions rose from a concern about being seen (by Latinos) to be drawing sides between blacks and latinos. He was not about to suggest that he though illegal latino immigrants are stealing jobs from African-Americans.

They just aired a critical message from a watcher who said (s)he'd heard that half of the 30 people that had the dials that determined that instant audience response line going up or down were Hispanics/Latinos. Said that was unfair to Obama. Moderator said well, they all said they were undecided. Both canb be true - it really struck me how the line went up every time like, as soon as she started speaking

No worse then Hillary. She can't bring herself to say Illegal Immigrant no matter how silly the sentences sound.

The drivers' license question and the moral aspect of the issue won it for Obama - amongst latinos, I guarantee.

I don't hate either of them. For me, that is saying a lot.

Wolf was such a putz trying to bait them...it's a DEBATE, you moron, not a sporting event. Idiot. This is the guy we have moderating a presidential DEBATE? What a crock.

Anyway, I watched the last half of the republican debate yesterday and the difference between those guys and these two are night and day. This looks like a united party with new ideas and a promise to take us in a new direction, while the two republicans that are realistically left look like a couple of rich white guys with stale ideas that are, at their core, just a continuation of the same crap we've been doing for the past seven years.

It is gonna SUCK when McCain spanks Hillary and becomes our next president.
