I wish they would muzzle the audience.

These outbursts after a candidate lets loose with a sound byte is childish.

Yes nimh, they clearly favor Hillary. Alone how the stage was set
up is very favorable towards Clinton, not so for Obama, as I had said
in my previous post.

Well, it's the Hollywood crowd, what else did you expect?

The truth of the matter, of course, is that no one actually watches these debates other then a bunch of political junkies (like us) and the media.

Yeah does anybody know what the ratings are for thse last couple denates?

"She says its important to be ready on day one ... its also important to be right on day one". That was a minor hit on the response line, and its a good line on pamphlets etc, in ads - but said in person to(ward) the other candidate it sounds a bit snooty to me

But I sure understand his frustration after all that self-excusing BS of Hillary's about the reasons to at the time believe that Saddam etc etc... she should have been at one of the anti-war rallies in '03, then she could have heard then already the stuff that she and all those other top US Democrats of the time only discovered years later...

The big q is, even if Obama wins this debate, will he win more voters in California?

Why do you think it's clear that Obama has more integrity?

I happen to agree, in general, but I've seen nothing to suggest it in this debate.

Obama can back up what he's putting out. Hillary uses great rhetoric
and has learned to use body language and rhetoric to persuade. Obama
is not as prolific (yet) in public. His heart is on his sleeves, and that makes
him much more honest - in my book.

Being uncomfortable in a debate is not proof of integrity. I still don't see it, but if you (and others) do, that's what counts.

I think that Ted Kennedy's appearance on the radio this morning may help a little with the Latino crowd.

I doubt that the debate will matter much one way or another unless one of them screws up badly, which hasn't really happened yet.

Agreed, but only because he comes armed with the "I was always against it," argument which always beats Hillary's switched position with a Democratic crowd. He worked it well.

Anastasia just came home right when they asked Hillary about whether she could keep Bill under control, and she cackled loudly in 'defense' -- and she went 'oh my god thats like Tom Cruise!" (as in his notorious vid)

Hillary has deepened her cackle so that it doesn't sound so witch-like, but when you hear it, you know she's not at all amused.

She did answer the question about Bill well.

I've been saying all week that she needs to rein in that cackle, when she gets uncomfortable questions...

They LOVEd the "no more yes men in the White House" line..

Also, funny - would you have Hillary as Veep? Well, premature, etc - but what I do know is we need someone with integrity, someone who can say no to people" -- so err, that would be a no then I guess Razz

Hillary will never accept the #2 spot.

I don't think Obama will either, but he may think it's worth it.
