Sorry to hear you missed the call. Well, let's hope he resolves the problem.

You'd like to believe this, wouldn't you? What a sad, sad person you are.

Kucinich needs it more. As of the end of June, Ron Paul still had $2,4 mill cash on hand; Kucinich just $213k.

If you think thats the truth you have a severe reading problem. Read the excerpt from the article that I repeated once more.

Why does he want to take guns away from law abiding citizens in order to solve the problems of his own race? Hmmm?

Yes, why do you think it is so, cjhsa?

Your "Hmmm" indicates you know it. So do tell us.

Because he's a gun grabber from the Nazi state of Illinois, preaching to a bunch of women who hate guns because they never had a Daddy, and neither to their kids.

If you got from what he said that "his solution" to the whole problem is the gun measure, end, you have a severe reading problem.

He spoke at length, as was quoted right at you - twice - about how cops are important, gun laws are important, youth community programs are important as well, and in the end the ultimate solution must lie in raising your children.

So what were you on about?

(Nice attempt to spin the conversation away from what you actually said though..)

It still amazes me how much interest there is from the across the pond peanut gallery in American politics. We don't want your input - GET IT? We're not like you for a reason.

Talk for yourself, cjhsa. You have about as much right to speak for 'We, Americans' as Roxxxanne has.

With the greatest generation dying, and the baby boomers assuming complete control, it's important that I speak as loudly as possible. The boomers, of which I am considered tail end (though I dismiss it) are the greatest threat to the USA that has ever existed. If that is what you mean by comparing me to Roxxx, that I am not mainstream, well, that's fine with me. The mainstream is infected with dope smoking, socialist chimps.

Maybe it's time for Obama to change his tune! Shocked

No. I like that tune. He needs to sing it loud and long. And start his own choir. Cosby can head it up.

Did you see the "choir" in attendance at the church meeting with Obama? These folks don't need a lesson in living the "good life", they've done their fair share of "good living".

How's Obama going to reach those individuals not living the moral, ethical and all-around "good life"? How's Obama going to reach the 10 year old gang members, who think it's cool to kill someone?

How's Obama going to reach the 16 year high school drop-out, now pregnant with her 4th child, still unmarried, and still living in poverty.

How will these folks ( the forgotten!) be allowed to join the Obama choir?

Tell that to an armed WWII vet - and see if he blows your head off.

Just try it.

No problem. I don't have any issue with telling any group of Americans that they are not inherently superior to any others.

I don't understand why you think such implied threats have any place in a rational conversation. Maybe they work on you, but not on me.

An armed WW2 vet is somewhere around 75-85 years old at this point. Not exactly a fear-inspiring age.

Do you have nothing else, besides the threat of doing violence? I'll ask you again: what happened in your past that has made you such a hateful person?

Miller, were you there? I sure wasn't. Yet I'm reading about it, and learning what he said -- I'm sure we're not the only ones. Saying such things loudly and publicly will get to the people who need to hear it, sooner or later.

cjhsa, you do understand that the United States is a superpower, right? As in, other countries have plenty of interest in what this superpower is gonna do with its superpowers. The person who usually has the most influence on that is the president of the United States. Hence their interest makes a whole lot of sense (even without going into the fact that anyone from any country has the right to learn about any other country -- in fact I think it would be great if way more of that interest and learning happened...)

Well, and the world does not necessarily need American input. And yet you may start out with some trigger-happy idiot that the NRA endorses as presidential candidate, and you'll end up having bombs raining down on your city just a wee bit later.

I can easily see Iraqis saying "Hey, we don't want your input - GET IT? We're not like you for a reason." Not that it would change anything, of course.
