My left wing talking points arrived this morning, so I guess you could say
I had someones response before PrezBO read from his teleprompter.

It's funny how all of you radical lefties get worked up when O-boy speaks...
you put so much value in his words, but you never look at what he has done.
You judge him only by what he says when you should be looking at what he has done.

@cicerone imposter,
Even thought they wont accept it, the birthers just had some rather large holes shot into their stupid theory, and its surprising who did the shooting.

http://www.mediaite.com/tv/bill-oreilly-tackles-myths-about-obama-and-separates-fact-from-fiction/comment-page-1/

Quote:
Bill O’Reilly opened his show tonight eager to debunk many myths about President Obama. One by one, O’Reilly tackled various allegations about Obama’s past in an effort to eliminate all of these issues once and for all. While O’Reilly confirmed that some claims are actually true, Donald Trump certainly will not be happy with at least one O’Reilly conclusion.

O’Reilly summarized about Obama that his academic transcripts from college and law school, his medical records and a list of clients he represented while practicing law, are all documents that have not been publicly released. Additionally, according to O’Reilly, there is no record of Obama ever being baptized. However, Obama never wrote a thesis paper so any claims regarding it being kept secret are untrue. Additionally, O’Reilly reports that First Lady Michelle Obama did not lose her law license and does not have more assistants than any prior First Lady. Finally, and Trump may want to cover his ears for this one, O’Reilly declares:

“We’re going to put this to bed tonight. He does have a legitimate birth certificate. The state of Hawaii says they have it. And we have no reason not to believe that.”

Then there is this one (prepare to be shocked)...

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2011/04/11/ann_coulter_to_trump_birthers_drop_the_issue.html

Quote:
"Now they will have a chance to find out this is Donald Trump's Pierre Salinger moment. You can't believe everything you read on the Internet. Obama has produced his birth certificate. There were announcements that ran in two contemporaneous Hawaiian newspapers at the time. The head of the Hawaiian medical records has announced, 'I have seen the long form you all want.' I don't know why the long form is considered more credible than the short form. They're both from the same office. The State Department accepts the short form or as we call it, the birth certificate," Ann Coulter told FOX News' "Hannity."

So there you have 2 loud voices on the right saying that its a non issue and has been debunked many times.

@mysteryman,
And we still hear from the most ignorant of people who still claim Obama is Kenyan.

Here's Huck in a recent taping claiming Obama was raised in Kenya, and he's running for president.

@mysteryman,

My thoughts on the birth of Obama is that someone must have checked and verified his
birthplace long ago or at least right before he was picked by the DNC and that's good enough for me.

Anything else is just an urban myth.

How about this for a tax plan?
We eliminate the income tax, FICA tax and all other federal taxes.

We then implement a simple property tax based on each person's wealth.
A tax of about 7% would more than make up for the current tax structure.

Who can argue against a 7% flat tax rate?

I don't think the myth has much at all to do with urban. It is a "hick" myth.

Unworkable - you'll never find my wealth to tax it.

@Cycloptichorn,
You're looking back into history that's long past; that's the reason all levels of government are having fiscal management problems. They always play with revenue figures that will never materialize, and especially in this economic environment. They're experts at playing games with revenue - unlike running any household budget. When households go broke, they lose their homes, and go without food.

The GOP rep is now talking about class warfare. You must know where they are headed concerning Obama's budget plan.

Of course it's unworkable. But how do you feel about it as a way to tax people if it was workable?

So Obama's big plan to fix the government budget does not deal with Social Security payments, medicaid payments, nor medicare payments.

FAIL.
Quote:
At the same time, Obama blasted the House Republican 2012 budget proposal unveiled last week, saying it would "lead to a fundamentally different America than the one we've known throughout most of our history."
"These are the kind of cuts that tell us we can't afford the America that I believe in and that I think you believe in,"

http://www.cnn.com/2011/POLITICS/04/13/obama.deficits/index.html?hpt=T1&iref=BN1

UMM, we cant afford our entitlement programs...If Obama were a leader he would be honest with the American people about that. So called leaders facilitating the public's unreasonable expectations on what their tax dollars should buy is a huge part of the reason we got into this mess in the first place.

@H2O MAN,
I have been saying that all along.
My sister was born in Hawaii, she has the same "certificate of live birth" that Obama has, and it is accepted in all 50 states as a valid birth certificate.

Additional? Do you have reading comprehension problems?
All other taxes would go away.

We would only have a 7% tax on wealth.

I don't have a problem with it, as it basically would prevent the long-term buildup of capital which wasn't being used for a good purpose. But, like I said - you'll never find my wealth, so it's not worth discussing all that much.
