@H2O MAN,
Obamacare, modeled on Romneycare, is an obeissance to the health insurance industry. It is so capitalistic in the worst aspect of capitalism that is a tool of the rich. The Republican power machine duped you. It has you ranting against what it, the power machine that is, allegedly stands for: untrammeled capitalism.

@plainoldme,
Isn't "obeissance" a low curtsy. Like with the skirt held out on either side with the fingers and a quick bend of the knees, one slightly more than the other, although it couldn't be more bent than anything else than the other I suppose, the angle of which is in indirect proportion to the amount of deference or homage is thought due to the object to which it is directed.

Applied in this case it is a gross insult to Mr Obama and his team who try very hard to look masculine, too hard sometimes, as it implies that they are like schoolgirls going up to the Archbishop to receive the prize for Goodest Girl of Grade 12 and that American socialism has gone a bit whooofie due to various factors which I am too polite to mention and which would probably be considered "off topic" anyway; if not downright trolling.

I assume then that you agree with those of us who desire the repeal of Obamacare?

@ican711nm,
The unemployment rate under Obama is more than 4% higher on average than it was under Bush. Average unemployment under Bush was only 5.2%, compared to 9.4% under Obama.

@cicerone imposter,
During the 1980s, talking heads on the long defunct Wall Street Week "predicted" the coming of the service economy. We all know there is no such thing as prediction.

@plainoldme,
Perhaps, but the question remains:

Do you want to see Obamacare repealed?

A straight answer will suffice.

@Finn dAbuzz,
One of the problems with the right is shooting from the hip and the expectation that everyone else will do the same. Another problem is with the right is its basic inability to understand normal speech. That last produces a problem for the left: the need to be closed mouthed.

And offering curtsies don't forget pom. It was you who said it. One ought to keep the mouth closed when dropping a curtsy.

@okie,
I guess that's this week's talking point from Rush, eh okie?
(I love the truncation instead of the rounding of Bush's number by the way. Using the monthly unemployment Bush averaged 5.27 or 5.3 if you round it correctly.)

Bush was blessed with a 3.9% unemployment rate when he entered office. I wonder why it averaged above what he had when he came into office.
Of course we could misuse statistics even more okie...

Under Bush, unemployment went up 97%
Under Obama unemployment has gone up only 14%

Bush average unemployment rate was 33% higher than what he inherited.
Obama's average unemployment (so far) was 22% higher than what he inherited.

26 months into their administration -
Bush's unemployment was 2 full points higher and 51% higher than what he inherited.
Obama's unemployment was 1.1 points higher and a mere 14% higher than what he inherited.

@okie,
Oh.. by the way okie..
Bush was 5.27 and Obama was 9.39

I wonder why Bush's number became 5.2 and Obama's became 9.4. It couldn't possible be bias, could it? Don't you think you should either truncate both or round both? Truncating one and rounding the other is a little bit of a lie, wouldn't you say? If someone lies a little bit, they will usually lie a lot.
