Substitute the term "Democrat," and that fits your side of the aisle extremely well, joe. Always extenuating circumstances. There are so many issues that this applies to, I don't know where to start, but how about no bid contracts by Obama. We hear hardly a word about that, but we heard no end of it with Bush.

And yet another tu quoque argument from okie: "You think I'm bad? What about the other guy?" Of course, that means that you admit you're being just as hypocritical as the Democrats, so I guess that's progress.

okie wrote:
What if he was lying, joe?

Good for Joe Wilson! I wish the Democrats had yelled "you lie!" as GW Bush and his neocon-spirators were driving us into an unnecessary and immoral war. But then I'm not the one who has a problem with politicians saying bad words. That's you. Remember?

okie wrote:
I am the one speaking out against the Democratic congressman disrespecting the president. Do you not care?

Why should I? If I had been there, I would have given that congressman the biggest high five I could manage. **** the president? On the issue of giving tax breaks to the rich, I say **** him twice.

That shouldn't be too hard, should it? I'll even match you: if you pledge not to use Clinton as an excuse for Republican misdeeds, I promise I won't use GWBush as an excuse for Democratic misdeeds. So what do you say? Is it a deal?

Being a sexist, I hadn't noticed that, but you're right.

How dare Obama!

Michelle is a whole lot more than just his wife.

Hell, referring to her as "the mother of my children," would have been more respectful.

Or better still, "that big scary woman out there who can kick my ass."

Okie's right, There is somewhere out there in the world a retarded ******* dingbat on the left who is just as much of a ******* partisan hack as Okie the ******* partisan douche. And I'm sure that person is just as clueless to the fact that he is a biased partisan douche bag as Okie the ******* partisan douche. The fact that these idiots can't see that they are blaming every member of a group for the thoughts and actions of only a few is what makes them all so damn fun to watch. Oblivious morons.

And that is what gives this forum such colorful stupidity. How boring it would be if there weren't ******* idiotic partisan douche bags like Okie to tell us all how it's "those guys who are being idiotic partisan douche bags, not me!"

So we should thank Okie for his hypocritical idiotic partisan douche-baggery. And for being totally oblivious to that fact. Because no matter what we do or say here on A2K, almost every single person here can be comforted in the knowledge that he or she will never be as much of an idiotic partisan douche bag as Okie.

Happy holidays!

Is there something wrong with 'my wife'? It's just a normal everyday expression for the female half of a marriage.

Kickycan's post is obvious evidence of these facts.

Okie's only real problem here in A2K-- if he has one -- is that he doesn't understand that the ILLs (Invidious Leftistist Liberals) are each "as much of an idiotic partisan douche bag as [kickycan]."

Wrong again, joe. I've never used, nor will I use Bill Clinton's misbehavior as an excuse for a Republican's misconduct. I only remind Democrats and liberals of Clinton to bring context to an issue and to remind you of your hypocrisy. Most of the time when a Republican is found corrupt, his own party shows him the door. In contrast, when Democrats are found corrupt or having misconduct, they circle the wagons, and sometimes even give them a standing ovation. Remember Gerry Studds? And now the crook, Charlie Rangle is given a standing O. No way would the Repubs do that. Although not perfect, they have more moral backbone than that.

By the way, you can continue use Bush as your favorite whipping boy, just as it has proven trendy in the media, all you want, but you cannot rob him of his legacy in history as a decent man. If I ever saw convincing evidence of any of the liberal lies about the man, I would join you in condemning him, but not if I don't. So no deals with you joe.

Yes, I can believe that. By the way, I edited my previous post very late, you may not have read it all, but I asked if you would now get on board to condemn Pelosi's and Reid's abuse of power too?
