Yes I did, the double negative threw me. You have to admit though that sweeping generalizations that favor the Dems and insult Repubs are your stock in trade.

Actually, it's during the day that I cannot go outside. I would have thought you more up on blood sucking capitalist lore.

Interesting info. from Rasmussen today.

"The 22% level of Strong Approval matches the lowest yet recorded for this president. A major factor in the recent decline is that just 44% of Democrats now Strongly Approve of President Obama’s performance. "

Then what's the problem? If you've never used Clinton's misbehavior as an excuse for Republican misconduct, why wouldn't you promise not to do so in the future? Sounds to me like that would be an extremely easy promise for you to keep.

@okie,
Quote:
Most of the time when a Republican is found corrupt, his own party shows him the door. In contrast, when Democrats are found corrupt or having misconduct, they circle the wagons, and sometimes even give them a standing ovation.

Sure okie.. and when was Delay kicked out of Congress by the GOP? When did you call for his resignation?

Not only did the GOP circle the wagons, They did this....

Quote:
House Republicans proposed changing their rules last night to allow members indicted by state grand juries to remain in a leadership post, a move that would benefit Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Tex.) in case he is charged by a Texas grand jury that has indicted three of his political associates, according to GOP leaders.

Wrong again, joe. I've never used, nor will I use Bill Clinton's misbehavior as an excuse for a Republican's misconduct. I only remind Democrats and liberals of Clinton to bring context to an issue and to remind you of your hypocrisy.

He will argue that the 100 times he brought up Clinton had nothing to do with excusing the Republican. Even when the post clearly states he is using CLinton as an excuse he will still deny it.

I would hate to see him argue that he never claimed Obama is trying to destroy this country. Because, you know, he never did it. Except for those times he actually did.

@okie,
Disapproval is pretty much on down line for Obama, democrats and republicans of congress. Its not really surprising if Obama's strong approval keeps dropping. Congress approval rating is at an average of 19.6% with republicans at a gain of 9.4. It is also not surprising that democrats are dissed at the President given this tax deal thing. Independents have ran away from his because they are against social spending in government (any interference in government) Republicans don't like him because for one he is a democrat and for another, they think he is a socialist. He don't make anybody happy, including his base and oddly enough, it don't seem to bother him.

Real Clear Politics

I guess I am of the 45% approval rating but not strongly because he hasn't done everything the way I wanted either.

Obama made it clear that he thinks it fair to redistribute wealth via federal taxes even though that increases the deficit.

Obama isn't fair!

@H2O MAN,
And meanwhile Sarah Palin's disapproval rating is almost the same as Nancy Pelosi's.

Quote:
Palin’s negative rating has climbed to 50%. That’s the highest negative rating for anyone measured in this poll (and it’s two points lower than Nancy Pelosi’s negative rating from last month).

Still no match for your 100% disapproval rating among women. But hey, that ain't a fair comparison, is it?

It's futile. He denies when the evidence is piled in front of him. He's either a chronic liar or insane . . . perhaps, both.

100% approval is a stretch, it's more like 99.8%
