@H2O MAN,
Why should I? You're the one making stupid statements you can't even back up! Why do you bother? Just makes you look more stupid with every post.

@H2O MAN,
Ask those same American people why? Betcha they don't have a clue!

They've been listening to the conservatives for too long! They're expecting over-night miracles like okie et al, when Obama's been in office for only six months - from this world economic crisis that started in 2007.

There's no cure for stupid.

@cicerone imposter,

Those same Americans were stupid enough to vote for Obama, so maybe they don't have a clue.
The point is that much like Clinton, Obama is poll driven and he is going to drop below 50% approval very soon.

BTW... What ever happened to BIDEN?

Did Michelle suggest that PrezBO fire him or something?

Haven't you heard, he was to be their foreign policy expert!!!! Hahahahahaha. Biden is pretty much rendered a lost soul running around making a statement here and there, then it takes a while for someone to figure out what he said or what he was talking about. Can you believe this guy was in Congress, and he was running for president?

"Polls Show Declining Support For Obama Decisions

AFP reports the President's 56% overall approval rating in the NBC poll, but reports that "among independent voters, Obama fell from 60 percent approval versus 31 percent to 46 approving against 44 disapproving.""

yes, Okie you're right "among INDEPENDENT voters, Obama fell from 60 % to 46% approval". You do good spin Okie. Your bias is typically underwhelming whereas my bias is overt. Often times Okie you make foxfyre seem (l)ibertarian.

@cicerone imposter,
Quote:
Republicans love war

Do you seriously believe that?
Lets look at some undeniable facts...

It was a dem that got us into WW2 (Roosevelt)
It was a dem that got us into combat in Vietnam (Kennedy/Johnson)
It was a dem that got us into Korea (Truman)

Those 3 wars caused more casualties in training exercises then have died in Iraq.
So, does that mean that Democrats love war also?

@mysteryman,
Going by what Bush and Cheney did to start the war in Iraq seems pretty good evidence. They even lied to get us involved. What more proof do you need?

Going back to history doesn't mean much; it's what is active today is what really counts - in the "real" world.

@cicerone imposter,
Your 2 statements contradict themselves.

First you say look at what Bush and Cheney did, then you say history doesnt mean much.
What they did or didnt do is history, and doesnt mean much today, according to you.

But why are you discounting history?
Is it because you dont like what the facts of history are?

Johnson/Kennedy lied us into Vietnam
Roosevelt wanted the US involved in WW2

Now you may not agree with that, but you cannot honestly deny the fact that 3 of the biggest wars the US has been involved in have been started by or during the admin of Democrat Presidents.

So I ask again, does that mean that Democrats love war like you claim Repubs do?

No, it doesn't. It is a non sequitur. Your argument is more ridiculous than CIs.

I knew they would start liking polls if Obama numbers started to slip. I knew they were bound to slip given the state of the economy and all the rest going on in the world and I was just waiting to see how Okie and... would respond when it did. This place has become so predictable..

@mysteryman,
Past wars are gone and done with; the Iraq war was started by Bush-Cheney, and the American People are still paying for it. This in concert with the financial disaster Bush left for Obama. The Iraq war is more important to us than any war in history; we're still paying dearly for it with lives and treasure.

@mysteryman,
mysteryman, I found the following site which shows a video of all the wars involving the United States, and the party of the president during those wars. The Democrats have the most fatalities, and if you take out the Civil War, which was a special case with actually both parties involved, the Republican Union vs the Democrat Confederacy, it becomes very lopsided Democratic. Most of the fatalities during a Republican presidency are during the Civil War, as documented in this website video, but as I say, that is a special case in my opinion.

Sure its predictable. Do you expect us to sit by and not point out the failures of the Obama policies and the resulting public opinion?
