Yeah but I wasn't gonna tell teenyboone that Sowell is black.

I was enjoying the spectacle.

More fun than watching 'Wipeout' , that's for sure. Laughing

Yep.

I recall how entertaining it was to watch her accuse eoe of being a racist a few months ago, right until the moment she was delicately advised of her mis-impression of eoe's ethnicity. Watching that particular train reverse course was amusing.

You guys are so myopic and ignorant, let me give you a clue: just because someone belongs to a minority race doesn't mean they aren't racist.

ci would not respond to my previous post, so another try. Does this indicate, as it seems to, that you, ci, think Sowell is a racist.

One of the most troubling things I have seen in the political world is that black on black accusations can be some of the most vicious, and any black that wants to get past the racism, Sowell being an example, Clarence Thomas another, fellow blacks will viciously attack them. In contrast, a man like Obama that continues to fan the flames of racism, they are instead honored for doing it. I think this is a very sad commentary on the state of things right now. Whites have for a very long time had to confront their racism, and rightly so, to correct the problems. However, there is good evidence of racism in the black community that has not yet been confronted and dealt with. The Jeremiah Wright issue amply demonstrates that phenomena, and I think Obama has bought into that mindset to at least some extent.

Right you are, c.i.

But you need to direct your comment at teenybone. After all, she was the individual who believed eoe was a racist up until the moment she realized she was a minority race -- as if that absolved her of any possibility of being a racist in teenybone's view.

I don't think "poopity head" is a term proscribed by the TOS.

Anyway, you're all missing the point, which is that asians are some of the most racist people on the planet. They all hate each other. Then they come here and want to accuse me of being racist when I've offered up nothing anti-asian.

Let me ask this - why do so many asian women choose to mary white men? Is it because they find them more attractive, or because their asian boyfriends treat them like dirt?

I can push buttons all day.

CJ - never mind the funny pics! There's ample statistical evidence in support of your observation: posted this on previous page, re-posting:

Flying (and driving) require special abilities, Deist, so the statement you object to has nothing controversial about it. Orientals were the first to adopt agriculture, as you know, so they gradually lost part of those abilities, unlike more primitive folks (like me and CJ, for instance) who kept surviving by hunting for several additional centuries, if not millenia.

There's nothing racist in that observation. Here's one of countless related articles:

I noticed it when I first moved to Silicon Valley. About 99% of the time someone was screwing up really badly in traffic they were asian.

But you know what? I cut them a break. Many of them are recent immigrants who didn't grow up with cars and didn't have parents with driving experience to teach them how to drive. What gets my goat the worst is here in Michigan we have absolutely shitty drivers who have several generations of driving behind them. The Dutch are the worst - they think they own the road and that red lights are merely suggestions.

okie, What difference does it make whether I think Sowell is a racist or not?
That wasn't the issue I was addressing; he seem imbalanced in the brain to want McCain to push the nuke botton - or at least prefers McCain over Obama because of that. It has nothing to do with "race;" the guys a psycho.

I just did. You'd have to be blind to not notice.

One of the most frightening experiences in a car I've had in the last 10 years was when my friend Shinchen took me out to lunch. I wanted to crawl under the seat.

No it's not.

It's like saying white men can't jump.

It's a joke, because we all know they can.

well, we can jump a little............just not very high, that's all

but a jump is still a jump, right?

I mean it'd be different if they said 'white men can't jump very high'

of course then the question is 'how high do you mean?'

because most of us can't jump very high, I mean cmon we're white Laughing

ahem, well back to our regularly scheduled arguments

Ayers is a big lib supporter, and it seemed the party Obama attended at Ayers' was in part to ensconse him with the lib funding glitterati in his area.

How deeply hands are in pockets is anyone's guess.

An aside: I was nearly killed three days ago. A car came swerving out of nowhere---she never even looked to see if there was anyone on the main road before careening onto it.

I laid on the horn. I've seen minor traffic gaffes, but I'd never seen anything like this...guess I've been fortunate.

Poor thing was scared to death when she finally heard my honking. But, I honestly wonder if she had any idea what she'd done.

...and that's all I have to say about that...

No, my coughing seemed to do the trick. I couldn't take my eyes off of him, because he'd get all heavy-lidded, and look like he was about to nod off ........

<loud cough>

... his eyes would fly open and he'd be fine for another 5 minutes or so. True story.

All options must be on the table in order for it to have any weight. You might as well dismantle all nukes if you will never be willing to consider using them under any circumstances.

If you think Sowell is a psycho, you have a big problem, ci, you need help. First you hinted he was a racist, now a psycho. You have a problem.
