You can deny it all you want but you'd be lying.

That's right! Also, if you have any knowledge of history of the US, you'll find racists amongst most of the white population. It's a world disease called bigotry, and it's always based on ignorance.

Wait... only among whites? You really think that, or is that just the way it is because only white people can be racist? Dude, your attention span is really, really short.

cjh, Study American history - especially those who settled on the east coast.

cjhsa - You're right. Many Asian country's look down on each other, that's nationalism not racism, nor would I say that it's an issue for "most of Asia." And CI is an American, born and raised in the US, I'm not sure what you point is other than zeroing in on his race.

Here's a direct question for the conservatives: "Can you in full honesty say that the republican party has not used Barrak's race in this campaign for the presidency?

Anyone can be racist. So your BS strawmen about only whites can be racist is totally irrelevant. It's only a way to dodge the issues.

It's hilarious watching conservatives trot out Sowell like he's some sort of trap. So far everything I've seen from Sowell has been total crap. He get's judged by the bankruptcy of his ideas. He didn't receive more or less criticism once I knew he was black, he was still the same degree of Asshole.

Meanwhile you have people like Ann Coulter running around trying to emphasis Barrak's middle name as if it's something to be feared. It's very important to the republican political machine to make race an issue, and then when Obama addresses the stigma that they create, they say that he's playing the race card.

Can you honestly say Barry hasn't?

You know he has.

His comments about those who 'cling to their antipathy against people who aren't like them' are simply a slick way of insinuating 'if you don't vote for me, you're racist'.

I'm sure you think this is funny. This is only meant to inflame others solely on the basis of race. You go to far.

1) You didn't answer my question.
2) You didn't actually provide a quote.

Are you seriously gonna tell me you are unaware of Obama's statement a few days before the PA primary regarding 'bitter people who cling to their guns and religion and their antipathy to people who aren't like them ' ?

You need to read up a little on the history of A2K.... I didn't go "to" far, I didn't go far enough.

You mean this one

Quote:
You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

and you're trying to tell us that by "people who aren't like them" he was referring to himself, and that by that he meant to say that "if you don't vote for me, you're racist"?

You're kidding, right?

Why did you reply to my question if you weren't going to answer it?

Yes I know what statements you are referring to, and no I do not by a long stretch believe they mean what you claim they do.

I don't need to read up on any history of A2K. This statement is inflammatory and totally based on race. I don't know if it's because you are racist, or whatever else could drive to you post this crap. Either way, it's not about your intent.

I can handle having my ideas challenged on a website. I don't have to handle harassment. So I'll leave it to the Mods.

You enjoy the freedom of speech while mocking the responsibility.

Flying (and driving) require special abilities, Deist, so the statement you object to has nothing controversial about it. Orientals were the first to adopt agriculture, as you know, so they gradually lost part of those abilities, unlike more primitive folks (like me and CJ, for instance) who kept surviving by hunting for several additional centuries, if not millenia.

There's nothing racist in that observation. Here's one of countless related articles:

PS sorry this article downloaded from proprietary database so link doesn't work. Title is "Phenotypic Plasticity in Behavior and Brain Structure".

Diest, I detest censorship, but there are issues that people should know better than to cross. People like cjh have already established their persona on a2k, and most just ignore him - although he's been challenged often. Most people are of good will, and will refrain from the kind of stuff that cjh seems to savor. I wouldn't worry to much about cjh; he censors himself.
