Well, this is interesting to read...

http://www.abcnews.go.com/Politics/Vote2008/wireStory?id=5483678

Quote:
Those 75,000 Democrats who will pack a football stadium for Barack Obama's convention speech won't be there just to whoop and holler on television. They'll form the world's largest phone bank to boost voter registration - fired-up supporters using computer targeting the campaign has spent months putting together.

The move to the Invesco Field at Mile High stadium for the convention's final night next month - at an additional cost of $5 million - will capture a huge crowd the Obama campaign plans to put to work. They'll be armed with data gleaned through "microtargeting" unregistered voters the campaign believes are ripe to back Obama if pressed to get on board.

Are those people going to be paid for their work?
And why do this if Obama is sure about winning?
And can the people contacted by this phone bank get registered in time to vote in the Nov elections.

Obama has done this at every single large campaign event he's held. It's one of the reasons he's ahead; good organization and good tactics.

But your "parody" quite clearly says that the GOP paid for it.
So, did they or not?
If they didnt, then its a lie, and according to the left on here that makes you a liar.

It says 'paid for by the GOP committee for stupid and unpopular presidents.' Unless such a committee exists, it's clearly parody.

Please. Grow the f*ck up, MM, and cut it out with this pointless crap.

Oh, really? You think a picture which was clearly a parody is comparable to others claiming the truth, when they have no evidence, and are clearly NOT engaging in parody?

Show me somebody who doesn't like being held to the same standard as s/he wants to hold anyone else to and I'll go out and say a prayer for them. Or, as we say in England "I'll show my arse int Co-op window."

I thought it quite witty. A prank maybe so nobody could ever prove which side put it out.

Looking at it as an ideal neutral, someone who has balanced fault for fault and come out level, I think it would lean me to voting McCain. It has a few levels. If we are getting stupider, as all the education experts claim, (to get more funds), a smart, popular guy would get us going faster--surely? What we need is the stupidest guy who doesn't know what he's doing. At least we can have an 8 year rest to get our bearings.

Like Ike. He was a GOPer wasn't he. Gerald Ford. But for a heartbeat James Danforth "Dan" Quayle. Etc.

What about when Mr Reagan fired all the air traffic controllers eh? Real politics that. A smart person who sought to be popular would have opened negotiations and finished up conceding.

Hey H2O_MAN.

You're hopeless at doomsaying. Get an old overcoat and a hangdog expression and go round the shops showing them how it should be done.

"He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them:
he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them again.

He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth,
and causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.

They grope in the dark without light,
and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man. "

The Bible isn't all bullshit. It's only the bits the pedantic twottles can't see the metaphorical aspects of that are bullshit.

Great minds think alike.
