A critic from Köln wish to draw your kind attention
Here is my view ( in better English)

"It's been an unprecedented year for young voters, but the battle isn't over yet. How can we make sure that all youth, in and out of college, can vote in November?

Your candidacy has inspired a wave of political enthusiasm like nothing seen in this country for decades. In your speeches, you have sketched out a vision of a better future-in which the United States sheds its warlike stance around the globe and focuses on diplomacy abroad and greater equality and freedom for its citizens at home-that has thrilled voters across the political spectrum. Hundreds of thousands of young people have entered the political process for the first time, African-American voters have rallied behind you, and many of those alienated from politics-as-usual have been re-engaged.

You stand today at the head of a movement that believes deeply in the change you have claimed as the mantle of your campaign. The millions who attend your rallies, donate to your campaign and visit your website are a powerful testament to this new movement's energy and passion.

This movement is vital for two reasons: First, it will help assure your victory against John McCain in November. The long night of greed and military adventurism under the Bush Administration, which a McCain administration would continue, cannot be brought to an end a day too soon. An enthusiastic corps of volunteers and organizers will ensure that voters turn out to close the book on the Bush era on election day. Second, having helped bring you the White House, the support of this movement will make possible the changes that have been the platform of your campaign. Only a grassroots base as broad and as energized as the one that is behind you can counteract the forces of money and established power that are a dead weight on those seeking real change in American politics.

We urge you, then, to listen to the voices of the people who can lift you to the presidency and beyond.

re: stupid commercials by McCain, Obama today asks him:

Is this the best you can do? Seriously?

Nice to see Obama giving McCain the mockery he deserves. McCain is proving himself to be a grade-a clown and he'll never win the election with this tomfoolery.

You're kidding, right?

Case 1: Presidential candidate A touts misdeed of candidate B in statements and ad, even though it turns out they, nor anyone else, have no evidence whatsoever that Mr. B actually did it.

Case 2: Person X makes a poster asserting something ridiculous and obviously untrue as parody, for a laugh, to make fun of something.

What do you mean, "the same standard"? Silliness.

It's called volunteering, MM. You know, you think a candidate is really good, so you do something to help him win. Hundreds of thousands of people will be doing it for McCain this autumn, and hundreds of thousands will be doing it for Obama. It's what democracy is made of.

But you know that...

McCain can't talk about the issues, because he's only running as a third term for Bush. That's been a disaster, and everybody knows it! What he has left, and the only thing, is to attack Obama. That's all he has left; attack ads.

If an asteroid struck the mid-west and blotted out the sun for three years you would blame it on Mr Bush c.i.

We all know that.

Mr Bush wants you all to be happy and prosperous. You just won't let him fulfill the ambition due to your greed and intemperence.

Don't you think that the other 8 or 9 billion who live on the planet have a right to see the world and take some nice photographs with which to bore everybody into stupified catatonia with as you do?

It's a bit racist in my book if you don't.

You're hopeless at doomsaying. Get an old overcoat and a hangdog expression and go round the shops showing them how it should be done.

He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth,

They grope in the dark without light,

The Bible isn't all bullshit. It's only the bits the pedantic twottles can't see the metaphorical aspects of that are bullshit.

Great minds think alike.

So, Obama wants to walk away from the battle for Iraq now that McCain's successful surge is bearing fruit. Brilliant! Rolling Eyes

Walking away from the battle for Iraq equates to Obama defecating all over those warriors from all
nations that continue to sacrificed everything to get us in the successful position we are currently in.

That's totally unacceptable and un-American.

The battle for Afghanistan:
Since day one, the plan has always been to put down a heavier footprint when needed.
Obama is suggesting nothing new for the battle for Afghanistan. No vision. No Obama.

H2O, Where have you been all these years? The Coalition of the Willing have dropped away when they learned the truth about why we were in Iraq. It wasn't about WMDs or Saddam's connection to al Qaida - the claims of this administration. It's now, "bring democracy to the middle east."

The "inside" scoop from FL; it's more promising than the 1% difference.
*************

Added: 7/23/08

Rasmussen Reports
Date: 7/22
Florida
Added: 7/23/08
Barack Obama 46%
John McCain 45%
Unsure 6%
Other 4%
Source

A big push for Obama this month in Florida comes from unaffiliated voters. Last month, he had just a three-point lead in this demographic. This month, he leads by twenty-three.

Obama leads 50% to 43% among women in Florida, while McCain leads 47% to 41% among men. The Democrat has double-digit leads among voters under 40 years of age, while McCain has a big lead among senior citizens.

This month, Obama is viewed favorably by 51% of Florida voters, up from 44% last month. He is viewed unfavorably by 47%, down from 53% last month. McCains numbers are 60% favorable, up from 57% last month, and 39% unfavorable, up from 38% last month.

Nearly half of voters in Florida (49%) say economic issues are the most important in the upcoming election. Of those voters, 63% choose Obama while just 27% choose McCain. In a very distant second, 19% of voters choose National Security issues as the most important in the Presidential election. Among those voters, McCain has a 79% to 18% advantage.
