I don't know why I'm still surprised when a see a cat do something not quite doable.

Isn't there a whole series somewhere of "That's not my cat" or "I don't own a cat" - where strange cats wonder into places and act like they've always been there?

My indoor only cat Lulu accidently got out. As soon as she smelled outdoor air she panicked and sought refuge under the house.

I left the kitchen door slightly ajar she when she got over having the vapors she could come back in.

A few minutes later I walked by the kitchen door and saw movement. When I turned my head, this was pretty much what I saw...
