@ossobuco,
Perhaps.
But obviously master of all he surveys!
Or mistress of all she surveys, if that applies.
What a stunning creature. Smile

@hingehead,
That was too damned cute. I now have had a rush of cuteness to my head, and I believe I am about to utter baby talk to my cats, in a lithp.

By clicking on this image you'll find Goya's inspiration for his masterpiece shown here:

Oh, msolga, could you give the Nomad some advice as to how to amuse a severely
bored cat? There's absolutely no action outside - like, Hilda and I made the morning
rounds out back twice already. Nada....

Dear Molly,

Yes, I have some suggestions for the Nomad household to relieve your (perfectly understandable!) boredom.

Mice.

You clearly do not have enough mice in the Nomad household.

Just this morning (& I assure you, I am not making this up!) my cat, Poppy, left a dead mouse in the passage for me to almost walk over, after I stumbled out of bed.

Poppy is not a selfish cat & left this prize for me to discover (& applaud!) rather than eat it (yech!) herself.

She clearly was not bored during the night & neither would you be if your house was mouse-free!

Just making a positive suggestion here.

I hope neko takes note!

Life could be a whole lot more interesting for you. Smile

Love to you, Molly, as always,

msolga

@neko nomad,
Somewhere around here is a great Monty Python video dealing with a "mopey" cat, and clearly that cat needs confusing.

I know dlowan posted it at one time.

@roger,
Coolwhip wrote:

If your cat ever were to suffer from a disease the vets are yet to find a word for; you may want to try confusing it.

Monty python gives you some easy to follow guidelines right here:

Confuse-A-Cat

Apologies. It was Coolwhip who posted the link above.

That's what Possum does!

And when it's getting desperate, begging with no result so far - his head appears between my hand and my mouth - makes it bloody difficult to eat!
