I know, I know I show my cats like they're my kids or something.... It's cuz, they are.

This is Princess a couple nights ago. Can you believe for a long time I wondered if she'd ever stop running from me in terror and being nervous all the time. This was taken when she was laying next to me on the couch. Does she look settled in? Laughing

This is probably my favorite (don't tell the others!), George. He's 9 now, and his jet black with a speck of white on the chest has morphed into dull black with a brown and white mane.

This is George's grouchy brother, Joe.

@snood,
I know just what you mean. Spooky is terrified of me - when he's not sitting on my lap, I mean. He ain't called Spooky for nuthin'.

Oh, Nermal just got back from a one night stay in the hospital. One of those nasty feline abcesses. Now, he's all hyperactive and happy to be home. Somehow, I don't get the feeling that the drains in his throat are going to survive till his appointment on Friday. Hopefully, it won't matter.

Just read this now, Roger.
So how is Nermal now?
Fully recovered, I hope.

@msolga,
Looking pretty good and acting normal, whatever normal might be for Nermal. I still perceive some swelling, but maybe if I shaved the other side of his throat, it would look the same. I'm planning to keep him in till there's no visible sign of damage.

Smile Good to hear, roger.
That sounded quite a nasty abscess!

I hope that goes down very soon.
You wouldn't want the drama another vet visit, would you?
Aw, poor Nermal.
Looking lop-sided & all ... Sad Smile

Excellent idea.
How's Nermal taking to his incarceration indoors?
Bet he's not at all pleased about it!

@tsarstepan,
I never could figure out how little kittens could sound like stampeding elephants in the middle of the night but they do manage it!

@Arella Mae,
And yet, my big cat can land in the middle of the bed with no impact at all. None.

@roger,
Stealthiness comes with wisdom and maturity. Your big cat is practicing for the day of the Great Feline Rebellion where the cats of the world rise up against their masters!
