@Izzie,
Gorgeous shots of Murphy, Iz. Very Happy

But I was wondering, how is that beautiful black critter of yours going these days? I'm hoping he's a bit less "accident prone" that he was a while ago. Caused you (& himself!) a lot of grief, as I recall. I hope the going is a lot smoother these days.

Apparently I have my very own lolcat. She was yawning, but I got there to late. Makes her look like she's just laughing at my attempts.

@neko nomad,
Thanks for the tip on the Furminator, neko. Nermal decided it's not as bad as expected. Spooky thinks "It'll do". Going with the majority, I'm rating it a huge success.

Does your cat look like Adolf Hitler? Do you wake up in a cold sweat every night wondering if he's going to up and invade Poland? Does he keep putting his right paw in the air while making a noise that sounds suspiciously like "Sieg Miaow"? If so, this is the website for you.

Roger, we have a furminator, too. I think it is great!

And here's an update on Nisse. We went to the vet last Friday. This time, Mysan came along for a check-up, just to be on the safe side. She is fine as I expected. Nisse is doing very well, too. Of course, he will have to take his thyroid pills every evening but that's going ok so no problem. The dose was cut on half now and I have to watch him for the next two weeks and then report to the vet again. He gained weight and looks fabulous! And I am a happy cat mommy!

@urs53,
Half dose is better. Maybe in two weeks, they'll tell you to come back in, say, six months. Progress is good.

@roger,
Yes, Roger, that's what I'm hoping for. His blood test results are good and it seems we caught it just time.

@urs53,
Our Mitsu gets a twice daily dose of methimazole ointment in her ear for her
thyroid condition. this in addition to her transdermal diltiazim doses for her heart.

Rain slowed work up until today; my back needed the rest. Will resume doing
bpade and shovel work in a couple of days.

Our furminator is really good at taking Nekochan's winter fur off. At her age
it's a big help. The other two can manage their own grooming and really don't
want the help.

@neko nomad,
My guys are tolerating it pretty well, which is pretty high praise around here. I still find the occasional hairball.

Your Mitsu must be one heavy cat to need concrete slabs to stop it from sinking into the ground.

@Ionus,
Moron! The only way to keep track of a cat is to glue it to something solid.
