You can pill your cat????

<bowing to your greatness>

Well, I just put the pills in his favourite spreadable liver sausage stuff, make little balls of it and he eats it. No problem at all - I am very very happy about that!!!

@Izzie,
Good morning, Iz.

How is the naughty black cat of yours? Is he staying out of trouble these days? No new injuries, I hope. He had quite a bad run there, for a bit.
When you've the time to post again, I'd love to see an up to date photograph of him. Gorgeous beastie! Very Happy

Pleased to hear you latest news on Nisse, urs. Good!

Any of the cat experts out there who can help me?

My house is under renovation at the moment.....yesterday a crew came in and removed all the carpet and linoleum in my 1275 sq ft house. this means all the furniture and everything is in the garage (non kitty space). Currently they are all in one room with a kitty tower, food, water, litter boxes and mattress on the floor with some blankets (that smell like me). Although I let the kitties run through the house last night, they were very stressed this morning when I closed them up again and left for work. Two of them in particular are very very very not stranger friendly and are scared of their own shadows so the loud noises in the house as the men work is going to be quite stressful for them. They are not taking it well. I am seriously hoping my big orange tabby is eating enough not to lapse into fatty liver disease again.

I need some help on some things I can do for the kitties and me over the next few days to help them have less stress until the floors are done, and the furniture moved back in. Any suggestions?

Oh kitty. Sitting innocently on the floor when I returned. But # lock, caps lock, screen resolution & hair in the laptop keys says it all.

@mm25075,
Nothing, and I say that very seriously. For several years, I did cat sitting for a lady with five cats. It finally occured to me that they were a bunch of old ladies hiding out in all kinds of unlikely places and telling each other scarey stories. I think this is a needed bit of excitement in their lives.

Ummm, does anyone know how to make a macro on my puter that plays the links from Rockhead's Music thread automatically? Wink

@roger,
Scary stories? Hmmm that must be why my Wiley kitty is so neurotic....Magic has been telling her stories of the EVIL doorbell and other assorted horrors....

Nip at night?

@BorisKitten,
Thanks BK! I would give them some nip but they have no where to run around like they do when they are on the stuff and Magic is a mean nipper.

I went to PetsMart yesterday and got some Feliway and sprayed it a bit on the cat tower. That seemed to help a little last night but I didn't sleep that great because Sugar kept pawing under the door to try and open it. Yeah, cement floors echo....a lot and I never knew how loud my heater was! heh

Also, instead of letting them out to run around the empty house last night, I kept the door shut of the room we were in. I suppose it was less tramatic as they could not see/smell the evidence of changes going on in the rest of the house.

Tomorrow morning they get moved into a much larger room where the floor is all finished so I'll be able to create some hiding places for the scardy cats. Very Happy

@mm25075,
Aaawww! I love how you think of kitties' feelings... they have lots!

I missed your post earlier. So by now they're prolly all happy with their new floor?
