I was on the Depro-Vera shot from January 2004 until November 2004. I started dating my current boyfriend in August 2005, and we decided that we wanted to have a baby just recently. We have been trying for about 3 months with no results. We know that the problem is not him.
Could the shot have caused me to become sterile, and if so what can I do to reverse it? I know this woman that was on the shot for the same length of time that I was (but a different time frame) and she told me that she had to pay $12,000 for a surgery where they scrape your cervix and uterus.
Is there anyone that is having or knows someone that is having the same problem as I am? If so, what would you/they suggest that I do?
You dated this guy for four months before deciding to have a baby with him?
I'm guessing you know the problem isn't with him because he has kids with someone else?
I just want to make sure that I've got this all straight.
