Deb, points for trying, but the Macquarie is NEVER going to be recognised as anything but a 'word-book' for Orstraylians. Don't forget we called a popular beverage 'XXXX', obviously we can't even spell 'beer'!!!!

Roberta: My first thought when I saw "stomachache"in the subject of your post was that you were voicing a complaint about some newly discovered disease, or cure for a disease, affecting the epidermal pores (stoma) in plants. (LOL) I agree, "stomachache" has got to go.

Osso, You don't like stoma khakis? Get with the program, kid.

New Haven, I had no idea that you were in the linguistic avant garde. And my belly button says "You're welcome."

Mr. Stillwater, God needs a dictionary? Who knew? As for Webster's, I must use what my clients dictate.

Deb, Sorry, never heard of it. Is it an Oz dictionary?

Hi Raggedy! A new disease? Please not another one. I'm going to resist the "cuddled" version of stomach ache. Don't tell the folks I work for.

For some reason, I think pupik has another meaning. Wonder what it could be.
