So by now everyone knows Walter is going to be in Chicago. Well, Walter decided he also wants to see a bit of america while he is on this side of the big pond so he's coming to New Mexico for a week. Walter an I will take the motor-home and see the landscape. We will leave Albuquerque and drive past Santa fe, Taos and Chama NM arriving for our first night in Alamosa Colo. The next day driving over Wolf Creek pass and sail past Durango spending the night in Cortez Colo on the Ute Indian Reservation. the following day we will drive to Shiprock NM (the center of the Navaho Reservation), then through Gallup and back to Albuquerque. Walter planned ahead for this adventure by getting his visa to enter New Mexico back in January.
Lotta paperwork involved in getting that unusual visa, I bet.
Well, I think, the visa isn't the biggest problem for but a MAP!
And so I'm glad that dys already got one.
I don't need no stinkin' map, I'm not a GERMAN!
Is anyone going to be in Denver at the end of June?
I'm in Denver twice, Husker, but in May and only in the airport
You guys going into Utah, Walter?
I thought of going there for wives, but my wife took umbrage.
Well, Mrs. Walter thinks similar.
Walter and Dys traveling the New Mexico countryside.
I think there might be a reality tv show there.
And Wolf Creek Pass certainly sounds fetching, doesn't it?
At least you won't be towing a Pontiac..

Documentary, Gus, documentary those features are called. Broadcasted in the educational services.
should have included a poll;
How many feet of snow will be on Wolf Creek pass?
(1) less than 1 foot
(2) 1 to 3 feet
(3) 3 to 10 feet
(4) over 10 feet.
Hmmm, that bicyclist must be in good shape..
As I told Walter, if my son is all right by then, I will most certainly try and visit dys and Diane. Keep your fingers crossed for me, everyone. He is not doing well right now.
I am so fascinated with the geneology in which Walter is engaged.
dys, those are fantastic pictures. Who is that good looking kid?
Cortez, CO! Cortez, CO!!! I love that place. If you can find the Brew Pub (something with RailRoad in the name, maybe) - have dinner there! Will you drive up to Mesa Verde? CAN one drive an RV up that road? Sounds like a lot of drving and maybe not so much sight-seeing.
Did Walter get his shots, yet?
