So I assume peeps are lined up to explain just how stupid I am for posting that Geroge W Bush might have accomplished some postives. Who's next?

Do you seriously think the economy is better now than under Clinton? It isn't for most people, those of us lucky enough to actually have a good job and are even making a higher income see all of our gains eaten up by energy costs and health care costs.

How many middle class working people can say they are better off now than six years ago? Not many.

Perhaps you should follow your own advice since you obviously are not capable of defending your POV.

This most interesting reply I found on the Internet to the question at hand was...

"He has not splashed the oval office in man juice."

(Every man has needs, and no one knows what goes on behind closed doors between a husband and wife. But in my opinion, Bill should have at least tried to be more careful.)

I did not "bash", Dys. It was a fair and balanced comment, elaborating on an explicit but humorous reply to what Bush has not done.

I'm not a Clinton basher. I feel sorry for the guy, for what he went through. The only thing I had against him was he ruled according to what the current polls dictated, and he lied under oath.

Other than that, he was really very likeable. Hillary is another story, however.

Okay, I'll submit a good thing that President Bush has done:

HE STICKS TO HIS GUNS. With him, I at least know what I'm getting.

Well I guess we have to wait and see on this, I greatly approve of the UAE operating the ports, so does Bush, will he stick to his guns on this?

dys: How can Bush take credit for it if he never heard of it until a few days ago? Laughing

well, I guess what I said was the Bush Admin, you kn ow if I can blame him for stuff he personally didn't do then I can credit him in the same fashion. btw I dislike Bush very much but that's not the point of this thread.

along the same lines, I really hated Lyndon Johnson but gave him great credit for his stand on civil rights.
