Quote:Nine Baptist churches in the US state of Alabama have been hit in a week of suspected arson attacks, police say.
Four were set alight in the west of the state on Tuesday, a few days after five had been torched in central Alabama.
State and federal investigators say they believe the fires may be linked and are investigating them as arson.
No motive has been given for the fires. A decade ago, 30 churches in the US south-east were set alight in suspected racially motivated attacks.
Only one of the churches burned this week had a predominantly black congregation, while three were mainly white, state officials said.

You'd think those Baptists would have water on hand to fight the blazes.
Nope...Baptists only have hellfire and brimstone.
spontaneous combustion?
maybe rubbing crosses together?
Where's Pat Robertson to tell us what this means?
rubbing crosses with bush
I'm totally surprised white churches are also being burned. I just don't get it. There must be something very serious going on in the Baptist church we are not yet aware of.
I'm telling you, it's the black-metal movement. It's not anything racial, as 4 of the churches have been white congregations. It's religious - someone is staking revenge.
Oooh, and did you hear of the Welches juice that sickened 40 of another church's members? Granted it was in Connecticut, but those Satanists are everywhere. It's a movement, I'm tellin' ya.
