Does anyone know what procet means in English? I believe it is a derivative but can't find an English meaning.
Not having any context, I would translate it "Let him ask".
Re: procet
George,
Re: procet it was used as a sign off
Thanks
Latin to English
Re procet - "Let him ask."
It was in the context of a sign off to an e-mail. Could it also mean "Ask him!"
Well, there's also "prosit", which means "May it be for (i.e. beneficial)."
That word is often used a toast or a benediction.
Prosit
When the e-mail came through with the sign off "Procet" I thought of prosit but thought that was a German word. We sing a song with prosit in it at Oktoberfests. I really think the writer meant prosit. Thanks.
