We are thinking of making a family crest and as our ethos is to give anything a try we thought that "Give it a try" in Latin might look pretty good. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hmmm...
Colloquial expressions are difficult.

Literally:
Conatum ei da.

Or:
Periculum eius fac.
("Make a trial of it.")
