@margo,
I say it's the start of the zombie apocalypse. On the Alert the Media topic, we've been discussing what we'd throw out the window at an approaching zombie army. ehBeth wins with hurling out the vacuum cleaner.

Last night I heard my niece call my name, not desperately, but wanting me to answer; I woke up and actually wondered for a few seconds if she was outside my window trying to get me to open the front door. Common sense kicked in, noooo, she's happy at university many miles away.


(continues to confuse, since this is a response to Found Soul from some pages ago)

I dunno re upright or canister. As for why the vacuum won, ask ehBeth, but nature abhors a vacuum and I can't stand vacuuming. There's a moral in there somewhere.
